be prepared to be inspired
Every once in awhile someone sends us a story that's so beautiful we are forever changedby it. This is one of those stories.It started in Winchester, Massachusetts, 43 years ago, when Rick Hoyt was born. Somehow his umbilical cord became wrapped around his neck, leaving him brain-damaged and unable to control his limbs.The doctors told Rick's parents that he would be a vegetable for the rest of his life. But Dick Hoyt, Rick's father, didn't believe it. He noticed the way Rick's eyes followed him around the room. When Rick was 11 they took him to the engineering department at Tufts University and asked if there was anything to help the boy communicate. "No way,'' Dick says he was told. "There's nothing going on in his brain.'' "Tell him a joke,'' Dick countered. They did. Rick laughed.Turns out a lot was going on in his brain. Rigged up with a computer that allowed him to control the cursor by touching a switch with the side of his head, Rick was finally able to communicate. First words? "Go Bruins!'' And after a high school classmate was paralyzed in an accident and the school organized a charity run for him, Rick pecked out, "Dad, I want to do that.'' Yeah, right. How was Dick, a self-described "porker'' who never ran more than a mile at a time, going to push his son five miles? Still, he tried. "Then it was me who was handicapped,'' Dick says. "I was sore for two weeks.''That day changed Rick's life. "Dad,'' he typed, "when we wererunning, it felt like I wasn't disabled anymore!''And that sentence changed Dick's life. He became obsessed with giving Rick that feeling as often as he could. He got into such hard-belly shape that he and Rick were ready to try the 1979 Boston Marathon. "No way,'' Dick was told by a race official. The Hoyt's weren't quite a single runner, and they weren't quite a wheelchair competitor. So, for the first few years, Dick and Rick just joined the massive field and ran anyway.Later, they would find a way to get into the race officially: In 1983 they ran another marathon so fast they made the qualifying time for Boston the following year.Then somebody said, "Hey, Dick, why not a triathlon?'' How's a guy who never learned to swim and hadn't ridden a bike since he was six going to haul his 110-pound kid through a triathlon?Still, Dick tried.Now they've done 212 triathlons, including four grueling 15-hour Ironman Competitions in Hawaii. This year, at ages 65 and 43, Dick and Rick finished their 24th Boston Marathon, in 5,083rd place out of more than 20,000 starters. Their best time? Two hours, 40 minutes in 1992 - only 35 minutes off the world record, which, in case you don't keep track of these things, happens to be held by a guy who was not pushing another man in a wheelchair at the time.But to really appreciate the greatness of this love story, you have to watch the following video... presented here, courtesy of YouTube. (And be prepared to be inspired! ;-)

FOR a change
Now i came to realized that those are the things that stop me from being more intimate with my LORD and SAVIOUR.
I came to realized that i settle for lesser things, things that the world offered which i know its very tempting to give in..(ive been there) those are the things that stop me from looking at the bigger picture.those silly substitutes makes me realized that only GOD can fill those holes in our lives, we are designed to have holes that everytime we leaks we need some filling from our GOD. but? we always look for some substitutes that never really satisfy us?
I pointed out some of the substitutes that i thought would fill me but it didn't...
what about you my friend?
what are those substitutes that you've been trying to patch those leaking holes in your lives?

a TRIANGLE
like ive mention before, the marriage retreat is very sucessful one PRAISE GOD, it has been a great experience for everyone and specially for us, arrived there in quality inn in belville ohio around 4, stayed in room 210 to be exact, the marriage retreat is such a nice way to meet some married couples and build some relationship with them, things that really stands out in me in the retreat is, the atmosphere is great, the retreat is very laid back, and this is not the kind of retreat that teaches people how to be a great husband and how to be a great wife in step by step procedure,(and kinda nudge your wife or husband that did you get it?did you get no.1?2?3?) coz in reality we can't be perfect) its about knowing who really GOD is and how GOD design marriage.
Now i want to give an illustration,marriage is like a triangle, GOD is on top and husband and wife is on the other side, the more we walk closer to GOD the more we get close to each other, the more we walk away from GOD the more we get too far apart.

oH credit cards
I dont know if everyone is already informed that im enjoying waking up each morning knowing that ive got to hangout with hubby every minute of the day, he got 3 months leave from work for him to focus more in his final quarter,14 more days and he'll be marching to get his degree.As a wife, his succes is my success too.
In regards with hubby's not working for 3 months some people seems very curious and had the guts to actually ask me, whos paying your bills? your rent? and some silly questions like asking me how much my hubby's income per month?per year? actually its none of their business i think soo,and oh by the way we still live within means and we dont indulge ourselves to buy things which we know for a fact that we can't get it right now, well we dont have bad credit credit cards though,but if you are one of those people who struggle with bad credit history then you should check badcreditoffers.com a site which offers credit cards for bad credit.
well i still can say that even though we dont have alot right now but we are storing up treasures in heaven, PRAISE be to GOD for all the things he has done,

lets play paintball
In case your wondring what in the world im doing that keep me away from updating my blog. I have been blessed by GOD giving me a sideline job that keeps me busy 5 hours a day from 9am till 2pm from monday through thursday, well im assisting someone from church, keeping here away from here 3 kids and do her marykay business, it was a tough week for her since she's aiming for a pink cadillac and free family trip this year, she work at home, so it was such an easy job for me to assist her with her kids, since shes very hands on with them, for me it seems like its not a job really, cause im there just to play with her kids, and speaking of playing games i couldn't wait till this nasty crazy weather is over and by the way next month im counting the days for spring break retreat in florida.and maybe after spring break retreat and when summer time is here were heading for an ultimate paintball experience and for that reason, i have to check some stuffs at paintball.com for me us to get ready for the paintball fight of the year.

| Take the Rate My Life Quiz | |
Your Life Analysis:
Life: Your life rating is a score of the sum total of your life, and accounts for how satisfied, successful, balanced, capable, valuable, and happy you are. The quiz attempts to put a number on the summation of all of these things, based on your answers. Your life score is reasonably high. This means that you are on a good path. Continue doing what is working and set about to improve in areas which continue to lag. Do this starting today and you will begin to reap the benefits immediately. (Read more on improving your life)
Mind: Your mind rating is a score of your mind's clarity, ability, and health. Higher scores indicate an advancement in knowledge, clear and capable thinking, high mental health, and pure thought free of interference. Your mind score is not bad, but could be improved upon. Your mental health is not weak, but you are not achieving full mental clarity and function. Learn how to unclutter your mind. Keep learning, keep improving, continue moving forward. Read advice from other quiz-takers on improving the mind.
Body: Your body rating measures your body's health, fitness, and general wellness. A healthy body contributes to a happy life, however many of us are lacking in this area. You have a rather good body score, which is an indication that you take care of yourself. There is room for improvement, however. Please keep doing what works. Eat right, exercise, reduce your stress, treat any illness. Doing these things will help ensure your body will be in good working order for a long time to come. Read advice from other quiz-takers on improving the body.
Spirit: Your spirit rating seeks to capture in a number that elusive quality which is found in your faith, your attitude, and your philosophy on life. A higher score indicates a greater sense of inner peace and balance. Your spirit score is relatively high, which means you are rewarded by your beliefs. Spirituality is clearly important to do. Never let it slip, and continue to learn and grow. Read advice from other quiz-takers on improving the spirit.
Friends/Family: Your friends and family rating measures your relationships with those around you, and is based on how large, healthy, and dependable your social network is. Your friends and family score is not bad but can be improved. Maintain your current social net, while you try to expand it. Try new things and form new friendships. You will be rewarded greatly.Love: Your love rating is a measure of your current romantic situation. Sharing your heart with another person is one of life's most glorious, terrifying, rewarding experiences. Your love score is very high, which means you are in a very happy situation right now. Do all you can to keep it strong. Read advice from other quiz-takers on finding and maintaining love.
Finance: Your finance rating is a score that rates your current financial health and stability. Your finances are somewhat in the middle, neither bad or exceptional. Keep doing what works for you, and improve what doesn't. Focus on long-term financial stability as your goal. Read advice from other quiz-takers on improving your finances.

circle of pooh friends
If someone betrays you once, it is his fault;
If he betrays you twice, it is your fault.
Great minds discuss ideas;
Average minds discuss events;
Small minds discuss people.
He, who loses money, loses much;
He, who loses a friend, loses much more;
He, who loses faith, loses all.
Beautiful young people are accidents of nature,
But beautiful old people are works of art.
Learn from the mistakes of others
You can’t live long enough to make them all yourself.
Friends, you and me…
You brought another friend…
And then there were 3…
We started our group…
Our circle of friends…
And like that circle…
There is no beginning or end…
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is mystery.
Today is a gift.
So now, let’s see how many circle’s of friends we can make by simply adding your link on this Friendship Meme! 1-Catsy Carpe Diem, 2- Catsy Downloads, 3-Out of the Blue, 4- A Day to Savor and Relish 5- A Piece of Idea 6- Write Shy 7- Stupid Wise 8-http://onlinememorylane.blogspot.com/ 9 - http://www.jk-nocargo.blogspot.com/ 10- Teacher’s Corner 11- Michelle’s Small World 12- Mommy’s Gibble Gabbles, 13- Hobbies and Such, 14- A Window to Our World, 15- Jenny’s Wandering Thoughts ,Just love the people until they ask us why,You’re next here!<–
